Telemedcare awarded contract to provide chronic disease management for CHF and COPD patients in Norfolk

As part of the preventative technology grant Norfolk County Council ran an event to select a successful supplier for the provision of Telehealth products and services. The five suppliers invited were Telemedcare, Tunstall, Initial Attendo, TBS GB and RSL Steeper. Norfolk County Council had invited PCT staff, COPD/CHF patients and Social Service personnel to assess the different technologies.

The persons assessing were split into five separate groups and each supplier was asked to present their products over a period of 30 minutes per group.

Each supplier was marked out of five in different categories for example ease of use for clinician and patient. Telemedcare was awarded the highest score in every category.
